Corunna Station is a great country escape for groups of friends or family in the heart of the beautiful Hunter Valley. Set on 100 acres of private rural property, Corunna Station was the largest sheep shearing station in the Hunter established in 1880. The property retains all the original agricultural buildings including the Shearing Shed, Hay Shed, and Wood Mill. Current custodians Angela and Gerard Kesby welcome you to Corunna Station, located on Hermitage Road, just minutes from the Hunter Expressway exit, easily accessible yet only minutes from some of the best restaurants and cellar doors in the region. There are two farm stay options to choose from at Corunna… The Cooks House which sleeps 4 and The Country House that sleeps 10-12.

“ We were utterly charmed by the Cook’s Cottage - wish we lived here full time! A beautifully renovated boutique cottage on a real working farm, with AC and fans in most rooms, two comfortable bedrooms, a great kitchen and choice of roomy indoor and outdoor living & dining areas. Wave hello to the kangaroos beside the driveway on arrival, take a soak in the amazing claw footed tub, have your morning cuppa as you watch the sun rise over the paddocks from the deck. And, of course, explore wine country! Angela is a great host, very responsive and helpful. She has done a magical job transforming on old country cottage into a delightful boutique hideaway with a real sense of style. We’ll be back! ”

“Absolutely fantastic accommodation in the Hunter! Myself and three old school friends stayed at Corunna Station when we caught up for a small reunion. It was perfect for us. Wonderful place to chill, chat and catch up, as well as being an ideal base to explore the wonderful Hunter Valley Wineries etc. We also enjoyed a superb meal at Spicer’s Vineyard... top notch! Would love to come back and stay at Corunna again.”

The Cook's House “This is truly the most beautiful stay in the Hunter. Surrounded by paddocks, Roo’s, and a stones throw from some very lovely wineries, you can return, sit back, crack open a red and watch the sun drop behind the mountains in the distance. Very chilled, stylish and relaxed home with exquisite finishes and touches. We arrived a few days before our wedding to settle in and settle in we did with cheese boards, wines and some quiet time! We were so relaxed on the day - just slowly getting ready. Our pre wedding photos look amazing. This is the home or farm stay you have been looking for. Book it now - don’t hesitate. This is the stay you have been searching for whether it’s for a special weekend, gig, get together with friends or even just some me time. You will be very well looked after by Angela. Best Stay. Book and enjoy!.”
